    Spelfie Mobile Phone Application
    The Spelfie mobile phone application uses local storage on your device for the following:

    • your email address, profileID and access tokens
    • PIN codes for private events
    • your device’s notification registration ID
    • your pending selfie images with their location, time captured and event IDs

    These are required for the operation of the mobile phone application and, in the case of access tokens, to recognise when you return to the mobile phone application.

It appears to be a variation of the _gat cookie which is used to limit the amount of data recorded by Google on high traffic volume websites.
